thing is\u2026at some point\u2026we will reach our peak of exhaustion, get sick, snap at our kids, and age faster due to poor nutrition\u2026lack of water\u2026lack of exercise\u2026stress\u2026and poor sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of 2020 and beginning of this year, I was finally done with feeling gross.\u00a0 I was tired of feeling flabby, tired of being tired\u2026and wanted to feel thing is though\u2026our bodies ARE NOT the same as they were before kids.\u00a0 Our body has stretched, shifted, and changed\u2026I finally realized that embracing these changes (because my body provided life) actually empowered me to make this new me strong and healthy again.\u00a0 There\u2019s a difference between wishing you were what you once were\u2026and embracing what you are now.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, with the help of my amazing business and life coach, I set HEALTH (among six other personal\/professional) goals for 2020 and continued them into the new year.\u00a0 She helped me narrow my goals, write them down, and make myself accountable for them by reflecting and giving each goal a score on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also joined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fasterwaycoach.com\/#thewholemama\">The FASTERway to Fat Loss<\/a> with my dear friend and coach, Kelly, and went for it!\u00a0 I tried several other programs that just didn\u2019t quite show me the results that I needed.\u00a0 Their app is amazing because it has tons of information, recipes, and daily workouts that I can do right at home.\u00a0 I\u2019m excited to have Kelly on the show this month to talk more about this program.\u00a0 I put a link to her program in the show notes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img point in this episode though is to remind you and encourage you to set your own health goals\u2026whether it\u2019s one or four.\u00a0 You might mess up one day and splurge\u2026you might not get that workout in\u2026it is okay.\u00a0 I finally realized that getting healthy isn\u2019t just a diet\u2026it\u2019s changing your lifestyle in gradual, little ways.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also realized after doing this for some time\u2026that I felt better, too!\u00a0 And if you feel better each day\u2026you will be a happier woman and mama.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Take Action THIS Week:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Write down three health goals for this month.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>2.  Post them where you can see them every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.  Assess yourself each week (whatever system works for you).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.  Reflect on, continue\/change your ways for the next week.  Repeat and see where you are at the end of this month\u2026then shoot for the end of March\u2026April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Goal Suggestions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Drink more water (specific amt based on your weight)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Walk 10,000 steps a day<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Workout three times a week (either text someone a pic or post on social)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Eat wholesome\/nutritious food at least 80% of the time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned next week for Part 2 of Healthy Mama, Happy Mama AND this month and even next month will be filled with interviews with Kelly Kofflin (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fasterwaycoach.com\/#thewholemama\">FASTERway<\/a>) and Whitney Simpson about meditation, yoga, and finding peace.\u00a0 Tracy Newman will also be on talking about setting and reaching our goals.
